The Symbolism of Astrology with Richard Moen
May 14, 2026, 7PM MT (Online)

There are so many details in astrology that often times at a point of entry, many become overwhelmed. Understandably, even the most basic tools utilized within the scope of everyday astrology are overlooked for more tempting or grand techniques, concepts and philosophies. One of these tools, stares us right in front of our faces the moment we glance at an astrological chart for the very first time: the Planetary Glyphs!
In this presentation, Richard will guide us through the 7 traditional Planetary Glyphs, how they’re constructed, the meaning behind their conceptions, and how these powerful and meaningful little glyphs apply a deeper meaning to the planetary archetypes in our collective astrological knowledge. There will be an emphasis on the age old adage to the meaning of “small but mighty.”

Thursday Night Lecture over Zoom (March 19th @ 7PM MT)
What Does Venus Really Have to Do with Love?
When most people think of Venus, they think of romance, beauty, attraction, maybe even a little sparkle of good luck in their charts. But Venus is far more than a fluffy, feel-good planet. This lecture goes deeper into the heart of what Venus represents.
We’ll explore Venus in the natal chart as a powerful indicator of what we desire, how we connect, and what we believe we deserve. We’ll also look at how to work with Venus in order to build a stronger connection with it, or to open a door of understanding and self-awareness.
This lecture highlights one of the themes I explore in my book Charting Love with Astrology, offering a focused glimpse into Venus as more than a romantic symbol, but as a vital force shaping how we manifest, love, create, and connect. By the end, you’ll see Venus less as an ornament in the chart and more as a key to understanding both our relational patterns and our deeper sense of self.
Saturday Afternoon Workshop March 21st at Roots on Whyte from 1pm-4pm MT
Reading Your Personal Love Map: A Hands-On Astrology Workshop
Have you ever wondered why you’re drawn to certain relationship patterns? Or what your chart reveals about the way you connect with others? The answers are attached to the houses written in your natal chart.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the astrological places that describe our relationships, the planets that color those experiences, and the house rulers that tie the story together (or not). You’ll discover how these elements combine to paint a rich picture of your approach to love, partnership, and intimacy.
