The EAS welcomes new speakers. If you would like to apply to do a lecture for us, please email easadmin@astrologyedmonton.com and including the following information:
- Topic title and brief description (2-3 sentences)
- Bio and picture
- Availability (especially dates you are not available)
Here are our speaker guidelines:
- Lectures must be a minimum 75 minutes and up to 2 hours long, with at least 15 minutes at the end for questions.
- Speakers must have a PowerPoint presentation or other visuals.
- Meetings will be recorded and shared with all EAS members afterwards. (Speakers retain rights to the material they present.)
- Speakers are paid $100 CAD for a standard Friday night lecture.
- Speakers may only be considered once every two calendar years.
- The EAS executive committee votes on each year’s set of speakers.
- The EAS will put out a call for speakers each year, but you are welcome to reach out to us any time to inquire about speaking.
